John 13:34-35
34 A new commandment I give unto you, That ye love one another; as I have loved you, that ye also love one another.
35 By this shall all men know that ye are my disciples, if ye have love one to another.
If Jesus loved us the way you appear to.....he would have nailed all of us one by one to a very unholy cross cross, turned his back to us, skipped down Golgotha's hill, ranting and raving in a condescending attitude about how wretched a people we were.
And you know Chris the irony is.... Christ could have done just that because we are a wretched people, and because He is Holy and perfect in every way.....But because He loved us
He did not look down on us.........Except as He hung from that most holy cross.....for us, in place of us!!!
Imagine if Jesus were to ask..."What would Chris Land do?"
I shudder to think.
I thank my Almighty Father that He is the one I put my entire trust in. I thank my Almighty Father that He is a God of love, mercy and abundant grace!!~
For I am but filthy rags lest it should be for the righteousness of my Lord Jesus the Christ,and the blood He shed for me on that most Holy Cross.!!!~
The word became flesh and dwelt among us!!!~
