Take heart in the fact that this market will always present you opportunity

I "take heart" for the following 10 reasons:

1) I still have my health.

2) I still have a razor sharp mind that can earn a good living.

3) I still have my house.

4) I still have my kick-ass stereo system.

5) I still have my awesome car ("Drive it like you stole it!" Right She?).

6) I still have my Irish passport.

7) I still have my neat pad in Cuba.

8) I still have my incredible girlfriend living in that pad in Cuba.

9) My parents, my incredible brother, and my awesome sister are still alive and constantly causing trouble.

10) I still haven't relapsed in 13 years since drug and alcohol rehabilitation. I must admit that the obsession with Qualcomm was akin to a relapse. My first addiction was gambling on NFL games. That's in my "profile." <ggg>

Others going through this experience of the Qualcomm "whipsaw" doesn't really give me "heart." I'm not much of a believer in "misery loves company." The terror of the past six months, however, I am sure, will help draw my brother and me closer together. We need to learn from these mistakes.

It is nice to know, though, that others, particularly on the Porch, understand what this experience entailed. That's one reason there were so many good "connections" at the Porch Party last month in Atlanta.

Just porchin'
