Listen, mercy is not given as a result of people deserving it or else it wouldn't be called mercy, it would be called earned wages. God has declared all flesh as sinful and alienated from him, but he extends mercy to those in need of and wanting it. Once a man dies there is judgement to face for denying him, or eternal life.
