Gregory M.: What is your opinion on JDSU following their announced merger with SDLI for $40 billion? The Bull Market website recommended selling JDSU, stating that they felt it would be, at best, "dead money" as the deal waited nearly a year for DOJ antitrust scrutiny and approval. At worst, they thought JDSU's share price would continue to drop significantly from its current levels. Despite becoming a behemoth in the fiberoptic space, they thought the valuations were ridiculous and that even 3-4 years of 50-75% growth in the fiberoptic space were already priced (and then some) into the stock.

What is your take? If you held JDSU, would you "hold" or "sell"?

Disclosure: I own JDSU LT and am overweighted in it.
