SALT LAKE CITY--(BW HealthWire)--July 13, 2000--CYCLOPSS Corp.
(OTCBB: OZON) Thursday announced it has been named one of Utah's top
100 Public Companies, by Utah Business Magazine, www.utahbusiness.com,
in its June 2000 issue.
This is the second year that Utah Business Magazine has included
Cyclopss in the ranking along with other well known Utah public
companies such as Questar, Skywest and Evans & Sutherland.
In additional news, Cyclopss has filed a preliminary Proxy
Statement with SEC designating Aug. 28, 2000 as the date of its annual
shareholders meeting. The meeting will be held at the company's
corporate headquarters, 3646 West 2100 South, Salt Lake City, Utah at
11 a.m.
One of the items that was preliminarily included to be presented
for shareholder approval at that meeting was a reverse split of the
company's common stock.
After further investigation and discussion, the board of directors
has determined that a reverse split of the company's common shares may
not be in the overall best interest of the shareholders, and will not
be presenting the action for shareholders' approval and subsequently
will not be executing the proposed reverse split.
Management also stated that one of its priority objectives is to
eventually submit the company for re-listing on Nasdaq Small Cap and
is aggressively pursuing activities in support of meeting the
requirements of that eventuality.
