Re: Now I'm really curious about this $1.5 billion revenue rumour... It's nonsense. The person who fabricated the rumor is totally clueless. There is no way the average discounted wholesale price of the 1GHZ Athlon is $1,000. Most of those chips went to Gateway, Compaq, and HP, who probably get 30% to 40% discounts off the published price schedules once terms and advertising allowances are figured in. Regards, Dan
