"Lenox Leaf" #1 is out.

I've only seen a poor quality fax. Here are the main new items that I can make out. The following is mostly direct quote.

BUS CONTRACT SECURED
A contract to build 7 plastic molding tools utilizing the Lenox ESTALLOY Composite Tooling Resin System has been awarded. The parts will be resin transfer molded (RTM) for a major bus manufacturer of an all new low profile wide track bus, to be introduced in June 1997. Lenox has already delivered four of the seven tools and molding trials and proveout have begun ....

RIGHT HAND DRIVE LUXURY VEHICLE CONTRACT
Lenox has been awarded the contract to provide models and ESTALLOY tooling to produce instrument panels for right hand drive luxury vehicles bound for Southeast Asia... Two vehicle models are now under development, with production scheduled to begin by Auguest 1997.

FIRST ESTALLOY PROGRAM
The first tools using the ESTALLOY tooling resin system were completed early in January 1997. Created to manufacture inner and outer doors for an all plastic door system being proposed by a major US auto manufacturer and Bayer Corporation, one of the world's largest plastic manufacturers... The entire process of producing models, constructing tooling, and molding first parts took only 3 1/2 weeks, a critical factor in the program.

AUTOMOTIVE SPOILER BEGINS PRODUCTION
With the completion of the ESTALLOY spoiler tool, production is beginning on a rear deck automotive spoiler using Lenox lignin based high density polyurethane foam resins. The Lenox resins provide competitive pricing with a superior high heat performance, critical on vehicle applications where temperatures of 230+ degrees fahrenheit occur on black vehicles in Florida and the Southwest. First year's production is projected at 3,000 - 5,000 units. Additional tooling production for expanded model spoiler production is anticipated ....

I don't believe I've left out anything material.

I'm generally pleased -- I hadn't known about the instrument panel deal, or that they were so heavily into the spoilers. And, it's good to see that things are moving along well with the doors and the bus contract is for real.

FWIW.
