Congratulations to John Chambers, voted CEO Magazine's CEO of the Year by his peers! I caught the CNBC release of GE's earnings this morning, and the boys waxed over about the parent company as Hosanna music was piped in. They started to talk about Jack Welch and what effect there might be on GE when he retires. David Faber, I think, then called Welch the greatest CEO, past or present, living or dead. I immediately thought of Andy Grove and John Chambers, for that title. Great for Chambers getting that award. Completely deserved, IMO. Tony
