Tony - Re: "Did IBM get an exclusive to buy all that were made anyway? " I'm not clear whether this uses a 256K or 2 Meg L2 cache. It would indeed be interesting if IBM requested - and Intel delivered - special 2 MEg L2 cache 800 MHz Xeons just for IBM. Compaq would love that ! Paul
