Yeah, that's IBM Netfinity 6000R announcement is very curious, given that Intel reportedly cancelled the 800 MHz Cascades Xeon. Over on IBM's web site, however, it seems the 800 MHz Netfinity server will indeed use Cascades. Click on this link:

and look at the Acrobat document entitled "Spec sheet." On page 2 of the PDF doc, the table mentions a future model "TBD" with an 800 MHz Xeon, 2M of L2 cache.

Hopefully we'll get the story straightened out soon. At least this wasn't a 256K Coppermine being used in a 4-way SMP configuration. That would be stupid, to say the least, if it's even possible.
