First: Thank you, Stew. You have been the Gregg Powers of Gemstar, than which few higher compliments could be paid. You did massive amounts of DD, freely shared the fruits of your research with the rest of us, and kept the flame burning during the long dark night of our collective soul. (Well, ok, it wasn't that bad, but it was for the options holders among us <ggg>.)
Second: Thank you, Mike Buckley. You played John the Baptist for this puppy to the G&K crowd, and have provided a constant source of sober analysis and gentle warnings to keep our exuberance rational.

Third: Thank you, Gemstar mavens (Jeff Bond, John Hsu, and many others). You provided a great source of information and analysis that helped educate us and think clearly about our investment.

Now on to more important subjects, like my Aug 85 calls. My question to the board is this: what should I do with them? The basic calculation, obviously, is to balance the rapidly decreasing premium against the potential for the stock to go higher in the next few weeks. I would be very curious as to what people's guts tell them in this regard.

thanks in advance,
