Loronix Information Systems, Inc. Announces Approval of Merger
DURANGO, Colo., July 13 /PRNewswire/ -- Loronix Information Systems, Inc. (Nasdaq: LORX - news) announced today that its stockholders have approved the pending merger of Loronix with a wholly-owned subsidiary of Comverse Technology, Inc. (Nasdaq: CMVT - news). Under the terms of the merger agreement, holders of Loronix common stock will receive 0.385 shares of Comverse common stock for each share of Loronix common stock they hold. Loronix' Board of Directors believes that it is in the best interests of Loronix and its stockholders to complete the transaction. The closing of the merger is scheduled for July 14, 2000.
