As the company has grown we have embraced new types of technology and most importantly we've learned from our experiences. Since the DWA's inception, we have written about 3,250 daily research reports that encompass 20 pages each. That's 65,000 pages of hand written research over the years. Everyday each analyst talks to or e-mails over fifty clients. That's approximately 780,000 conversations about individual stocks, option strategies, the bias of the market, interest rates, etc. with brokers, traders, money managers all over the world through out the years. Each one of the five analysts has charted, by hand, over 1.56 million charts. That's about 7.8 million charts updated by hand. I wouldn't even gander to guess how many X's and O's that would be hand written into charts! This doesn't even take into account the other chart patterns we have looked at on the computer screen. We've calculated that each one of us has averaged 62,400 hand written or typed technical comments on individual stocks or about 312,000 comments between the five of us. And, we're still going strong! It's our lessons from the 8.9 million research reports written, chart patterns updated, comments made, and conversations had that make up Dorsey, Wright.
