SHEW...that's a relief. I appreciate the hunger strike you've been on and let me say it means a great deal to me. You are right. This is my GD thread as much as anyone's. I helped build it from day1 and I feel that my posts have contributed. I suggest we all try to treat each other with respect, which is usually the norm and I will be very careful about how I let my supposed "sense of humor" slip out since it is now apparent to me that not all concerned appreciate my tone. I feel like "Eve" took a bite of the "APPLE" the other day and that is very disappointing. I had always thought that we all knew that the basic tone here was one of sarcasm, innuendo, and various and juxtaposed fetal positions. I feel terrible about all of this..not because of a few misconstrued, and I believe wrongly re-stated, assumptions by one poster...but because it has caused pain for you. I consider you one of my best friends and this has really upset me as well. You were being diplomatic as thread leader and I certainly can appreciate that. I think the most upsetting part of the original problem was not about what rich said. I could care less what he thinks in reality and I won't go into the reasons why in public, but that no one stepped up and even bothered to ask him WTF was that? If he'd have done that to another of my "friends" I know I would have embarrassed myself in the form of an attack...which I would have inevitably regretted after the fact. It is clear to me, apparently not others, what I was saying to rich and I even prefaced it with disclaimers. This is really my fault for not di-secting his entire post at the moment I read it and refuting the various accusations he made. I'm sorry I chose to "turn the other cheek" in this event since it is not really my nature to take such BS off people. The personal problems between Rich and myself, which I was actually unaware of up until then, should have been strictly a PM affair IMO. I also refuse to take shots in public at this person as it would be much too easy and I'd only feel bad about it later..I have learned this about myself over the years. Anyway out of my love and respect for Tom I am going to try to forget this whole crappy thing and next time it happens I hopefully will be better prepared to deal with it. ALL: Tom and I have been in contact throughout this event...just not in public Now let's get back in the fairway and swing away..yes, it's a stroke on the card..no that isn't an incidental hazzard..it's a tree..it's not a freebie<gg> Let's make some DOH! Optimistically, Kirk ps-- the timing for the RidingMower may seem somewhat suspect, but it's actually something we've been on top of for a while. Mostly in IM format. FORE!!! (EPNY!! Yeah baby!!!)
