Yes - that's true too - but Searle Sennett who posts on the Dutch Thread - and lives in Jo'burg - has spoken of the reluctance of RofSA miners to invest ' a penny' in South Africa - so their eyes are overseas. And AIDS may be in your mind a long term problem - but it's a disaster and must figure in many plans for the future. There are those on the right who think it will cull the black population - nature's solution I guess.
