Alright, please elaborate on how a consumption tax pertains to these purchased items. Say the consumption tax is 10% for simplicity.

1. Rent of $1200/month
2. Purchase of home for $500K, $100K down
3. College tuition at Stanford, $120K
4. Purchase of investment property $250K, $50K down
5. Purchase of 1K msft stock on margin, $80,000 total purchase with $40K up front.
6. Daytrade, buy $50K stock - sell $55K for $5k gain
7. Daytrade, buy $50K stock - sell $45K for $5k loss
