I would never pay that much money for a bottle of wine. (I've had the greats). I can always find great wine for less than the known names. $100 is really pushing the boundary of reasonable. There maight be some great burgandies which are exceptions to that rule, as well as some ice wines and other dessert wines of immaculate quality. Almost everything else is hype.
