That should read "...tax departments taking a big wolf-like bite..." I must have bits on my elderly brain with all the photon auctions going on these days.

Meanwhile NZ 3G spectrum auction continues [without much excitement so far]. auction.med.govt.nz
The taxpayers are NOT going to get a lot of dosh from spectrum users by the look of it.
