Pat, I feel its highly unlikely that during a new presidency, either the JDSU/SDLI merger will be denied or that MSFT will be splitup.

If one thinks about it rationally, regardless of who becomes president, there is a strong likelihood of a significant change in corporate as well as judicial policy.

Its quite remarkable how the press reports certain items yet fails to report the obvious. Perhaps I may be wrong about the MSFT issue and maybe it may go from the appelate to the supreme level and the judicial order to split enforced, but I highly doubt a new presidency will have the same tenacity within the confines of the DOJ for JDSU/SDLI.

Regards,
Hasan
