Not true. We are discussing federal income taxes and the IRS. Federal income taxes are NOT voluntary. If you refuse to pay your property will be confiscated by the State. If you have no more property to confiscate, they will attach your wages. If they cannot attach your wages, they will threaten criminal action. If you still refuse they will send armed treasury agents (probably accompanied by the FBI and DEA nowadays) to forcibly arrest you, coercing you to pay at the point of a gun. Is this the "voluntary" system you speak of? Income taxes are voluntary just as consumption taxes are.
