yep, i saw that. the producers have changed their tactics now...they sell ahead of the auction, and have stopped putting in bids, to ensure the BoE always gets the worst price possible. they want to dissuade other CB's from following the BoE route that way. who knows, they might even succeed in getting some opposition going in Britain. imo the CB's that are so eager to throw away their gold need their heads examined...the hubris is incredible - do they really think there will never be a rainy day again?
