Frank, >I think the environmentalists have already lost the battle, Tony. The mayor and city council have already lined up for the project. As far as Coyote Valley is concerned, it's just an ugly strip of dry grass next to highway 101. Putting industry there will reduce the risk of fires.
The tree huggers would have to come up with an endangered species to stop the project, and I don't think anything lives there.

OK, sounds like the local news is doing its typical thing siding with the environmentalists. I love nature too, but we should be pleased that the industry we have here, like Cisco, is mostly relatively clean. No smokestacks, slaughter-houses, lumbering, etc. Just put a lot of that EMI out into the air. Good for you. <g>
