MKS Instruments Postpones Follow-on Offering

ANDOVER, Mass., July 14 /PRNewswire/ -- MKS Instruments, Inc. (Nasdaq: MKSI - news), a leading supplier of gas measurement, control and analysis products used in semiconductor and other advanced thin-film manufacturing processes, announced today that it would not proceed with a proposed follow-on public stock offering at this time, in light of recent market volatility and current market conditions. Today, the Company filed an amendment to the registration statement it filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission on April 10th of this year, converting the filing to a shelf registration statement.
