Looks like it might be revenue growth...
July '00 up 61.3%
Apr '00 up 85.4%
Jan '00 up 127.7%
Oct '99 up 366.1%
Jul '99 up 224.6%
Apr '99 up 147.3%

When they mention the 61% increase this quarter, they don't mention how it compares with other recent quarters. Hi growth stocks need to maintain their top line growth or else, I guess.

I'm hoping it will close the gap soon, but this kind of drop results in a long period of weakness much of the time, so I am not at all confident it will.

What a tough thing to predict, this earnings business... AMCC shoots like a rocket (I sold it just before the report came out) and PWAV drops like a stone.

The other factor with PWAV is Korea where I believe they do a lot of business. RFMD (sells amplifiers for the hand sets) got hit today with this...

"RFMD Shares fall off a cliff after Banc of America Securities makes cautionary comments; according to firm, impact from weakness in Korea is not reflected in the stock price yet."

Good luck on PWAV...
