Jerry,

I'm not sure I share your enthusiasm for volatility if today's $6+ decline is what you had in mind.

Robertson, Stevens just released a report modestly increasing their earnings estimates for RSAS:

2000 EPS: $0.89 from $0.87

2001 EPS: $1.14 from $1.10

Buy

Alex Baluta, eNetworking Software/Enablers

"RSA Security's second quarter revenue of $66.7 million was higher than our estimate by $2.3 million, with earnings-per-share of $0.22, a penny above our estimate," said Baluta. "In our view, valuation appears attractive. We are raising our 2000 and 2001 revenues and EPS and expect the company to perform well, relative to our current expectations."

So, what accounts for today's big drop?
