You don't really think that switching to Linux will make your computer use easier or more complete do you? It will be no more reliable than Windows and you won't be able to find even 10% of the software or other products that are available on Windows. If you really want to make the switch, you should wait a few years until Linux is established in the PC market.

Don't forget to look before you leap. IMO, you will be much more disappointed with Linux than you can possibly imagine.
