Look at their customers listed on their web site vs customers for Novell ICS and that will tell you the story. The main difference is Novell ICS is a software solution that is implemented on a box with a general purpose operating system. Dell resells ICS on an "appliance like" server, however that server has to run NT so it runs into scalability problems. Novell is toast when it comes to caching. The vp of mktg at cflo came from novell and used to be the head marketing guy for ICS. Look for more bad news out of novell on the caching front this year.
