Hello all... So we are in some BioAPI conference...and we partnered with Authentec...and the website is apprently going to have something new soon... Any comments? Here are mine: BioAPI...good idea...but with the I/O and MSFT thing...does it even matter anymore? Authentec....the press release says that there are OEMs who have committed to include them...who are they? I don't know... I am not that sure Authentec is a player...cause they are at $85 in quantity for their chip...but they claim they can get 100% of the fingerprints...which would be great if true...cause you don't want to secure yourself right out of your network...but I'll wait to see more facts before I release my decision.... website deal? Don't know... So far it has been "forget about biometrics" according to sales...but let's hope that changes. Not a clue what they are going to do there... What ever happened to ING? The pilot was goin well...last I heard...but there were some concerns over price....which annoy me. $100+ per scanner and the cost of software...that seems pretty damn expensive. Whatever they change...I hope it helps... Regards, Bob
