Good opinions, but...

the reality is MSFT is a 3000lb gorilla and they sit wherever they want. And it looks like they want to sit on CTXS. I thought the antitrust suit would have some effect on them but it does not look that way, and I think the stock price reflects that.

Secondly, most network engineers with citrix background know that ICA is far superior to RDP; however these people are not making the purchasing decisions. Usually it is the CIO with limited knowledge and more often than not the only technical term in their vocabulary is the IT adage "no one gets fired for buying Microsoft."

I have used Citrix and rolled it out, it is great technology and it is real. The problem is that Microsoft wants a piece of the pie; a big piece, and they will resort to unfair business practices to get it like they did with Netscape. They have the power, and I do not even think the federal government can stop them.
