I guess the facts that their military business is soft, their inventory is building, and that OYO and/or the underwriters have lightened up/bailed caused TRUE to list all their risk factors in their last 10-Q to cover their butts. Risk factors are always a depressing read. I'd say that with a market cap of $21M and ttm sales of $24M they would look good as an acquiree, however their intellectual property isn't protected by patents (except: we have applied for a patent related to a computer network timing product). It doesn't look like DATM protects with patents either. FEI does to a limited degree (6 patents found) and SYMM does (14).

OTOH, according to the Yahoo data TRUE is trading for less than book and they are in a growing market. Competition is severe, though. Here's a peek:
odetics.com

brandywinecomm.com

hp.com this stuff is at Agilent now, I believe.

motorola.com

datum.com

freqelec.com

symmetricom.com

tech-sym.com trak.com I can't find any timing products however

Any value or spec folks out there taking a stab at TRUE?
