SAN FRANCISCO, Jul 14, 2000 /PRNewswire via COMTEX/ -- First Security Van
Kasper today announced that 45 public and private companies will be featured at
its "Communications for the 21st Century" conference at The Fairmont Hotel in
San Francisco on July 24, 2000. More than 500 investment community professionals
are expected to attend.

The presenting companies represent the spectrum of sectors driving the
revolutionary changes transforming the telecommunications industry, including

systems, broadband solutions, and Internet services.
