Re: NO license = Out of business! You neglected to note that the real killer in this negotiation is the ITC. The ITC will render a verdict in 1 year not 10 years. Therefore, companies which are not licensed are risking having their exports to the US blocked. This effectively puts them out of business. RAMBUS could block shipments of SDRAM and DDR SGRAM and SDRAM from companies like Hyundai, Samsung, NEC , ETC. They may even be able to block imports containing Micron SDRAM and DDR. Is this the kind of risk that they should be taking in view of the Hitachi and Toshiba settlements. I think not! JK
