How impartial are they?

(cubanet)

Yes I know... It gave me the exact same feeling, I am glad you pointed it out too.

I do not know, some of the articles do sound a little on the exaggerated side, but at the same time I did not notice any of the wide-eyed ranting of the extreme right, you know the type.

I like the fact that they put links to other organizations that not necessarily would agree with them, so that is something positive.

If it is a fair site, it may provide a god function to expose Cuba so others can learn about it in 4 languages.

Fidel has played this thing superbly ... mind you he had it handed to him as a gift when those whackos threatened to keep the boy from his father, but nevertheless, he has played it well ... but from here on in, he takes losses, no matter what ... imho

Fidel is an old fox and still very smart. Silence is golden, as they say. If he got hold of some intelligence about the familia Burron who was taking care of Elian, including Miss Hysteria 2000, then it did not take much to figure that to play it as quiet as he did was a smart thing to do. I also agree that after this exposure, Fidel must do something along the lines of Gorby in order to retire as a hero in their people's eyes. However knowing politicians, they are insatiable hogs for power and they never let go, so I think he will just sit there continuing in his undisputed throne. Until he rots, either the heart first, (in which he will die, or alternatively the brain, in which he will just become an annoyance to everyone.
