uncle west, That post about your investing process is one for the ages. Definitely a keeper! I've got it bookmarked under "Uncle West's Methods." it amazes me that folks will invest huge sums in gmst but won't pay a few bucks for a tv to check it out first. Even more amazing is that anyone can go into a Circuit City and check them out without having to buy the television. A good friend of mine who owns Gemstar stock told me just last night how enthusiastic he is about its future after having come back from a business trip in Norway and seeing that the television in his hotel room was Internet-capable. Sometimes there's nothing like holding a product in your hands to appreciate how good or bad it might be. i wondered how many guys who questioned yuen's purchase of the e-books patents had ever seen or used an e-book.
