Broadband (a fat, high-speed data pipe) and Enhanced TV represent the next major wave of Internet adoption, in our view. The TV is a viable contender to the PC for interactive supremacy in homes; however, the PC, with a broadband connection and streaming media, is gaining steam an entertainment portal and is arguably another form of Enhanced TV. Growth is being driven by an expanding ecosystem of content, infrastructure and consumer demand. We are moving closer to advertising nirvana-combining the emotional power of video with the transactional power of the Internet. New platforms and bandwidth are enabling a content revolution in entertainment (especially music, video and games), education, productivity and communication.
