Jon...do you know what the expense was? Do you know what the exposure was..? Have you seen any of the ancillary materials (posters, pre run coverage, programs, signage). The pre-run parties, the celebrity parties...etc? Please do not profess to criticize what you know nothing about. For all you know..the price was a pittance...and the coverage great.. This is the business I am in...as a past VP of MasterCard's Global sponsorships and promotions... so....buzz...off.... many times...the "surrounding events and exclusive events to invite key folks..." are even more "business building" than the actual event. we used to call it "priceless moments"....having a key VP of a client...at a special party or reserved seat...can have a tremendous boost to a new product... so without knowledge of the cost...or the exposure (both trade and consumer)....there is no way...you can make the comment you made... and what do you care....they are not spending your money...since you aren't a shareholder.... LOL......MIR
