Your numbers might add up, but reality indicates that for months now we have lamented that WCAP is undervalued and underappreciated because CMRC has been in the doldrums. Now that CMRC is up significantly, the WCAP price hasn't really reflected this increase at a similar clip. For whatever reason, history seems to show that the better play is to invest directly in those stocks that constitute WCAP's portfolio.

I have always had a soft spot for WCAP, but since I started throwing my money at their portfolio stocks, my ROI has improved. It seems that WCAP might better be used as a bellweather equity. No need to rely on "experts'" recommendations for individual stocks when we seem to be getting better "inside" info just using the WCAP model!

Having said that, I still have a little cash tucked into WCAP, albeit a reduced amount, and hope that it will begin to more accurately reflect the content of its portfolio.
