Glad I was pointed to this thread, lots of interesting posts. Perhaps someone can help me with this:

My c: drive has this directory windows\temporary Internet Files\content.ie5 OK so far then subdirectories (folders)named 7de12cde 8lebczb3 I5ino96x 1v2cm2by etc. There are now eight of them and they all seem to have exactly the same content as the temporary internet folder and the content.ie5.

I have just reformatted my hard drive and reinstalled everything, (not because of this problem) and thought this would probably rectify whatever was going on but.....

Before the reformat I had 26 of these folders!!! and it looks as if I am heading this way again.

What in the world is going on?
