I already admitted that I overdid it with the tone of some of my earlier messages, such as crowing about SDLI. But hey, if you had to endure hateful insults spewed at you, then made a clearcut prediction to buy a stock and had it double in 6 weeks...well, again, it was just human nature coming out.

As for KLIC...thanks to Scott's postings, I have been backpedaling on my last couple of messages and now am guessing that there is a much better chance that the top will occur at least 6 months from now. The interview with SK was an eye opener. I also mentioned on a recent post that my friend who works at Micron also believes the top is at least 6 months away.

Upcoming earnings should be blowout, record numbers. But again, Wall Street will overlook the record earnings and focus entirely on future prospects and grill the companies relentlessly about guidance. Management's words will be scrutinized a la Greenspan. It will be interesting to see if SK repeats his prediction of a top not happening in 2001. If the future guidance looks encouraging, I may very well get back in.

Finally, let's not let this deteriorate into a Yahoo thread. I have already acknowledged and apologized for the tone in my messages. I, too, am very disappointed that others have not done likewise.
