And I have had a demo of 54Mbps

Okay that is HiperLAN2, but please note that it is not just a W-LAN technology for the corporate office. It is being developed to fill the holes of 3G. The HiperLAN2 Global Forum has a whole bevy of names behind it (leading telecom suppliers, consumer suppliers -as it will end up in the home too- along with traditional PC connectivity and networking vendors). HiperLAN2 is a bit like what HDR is now, however HDR is 600/200 kbps (downlink/uplink) on average under load. Unfortunately, Qualcomm did not divulge what they think is a 'load'.

Chaz, the positioning of HDR is unclear - but above is my guess and the reason why people are not "jumping" for it.
