AMCC conference call (July 12) : a SmartOSA endorsement puts Mitel on a few more radar screens in the U.S. amcc.com 35th minute ; an analyst is getting turned on about the potential of the short reach pixel market ...the AMCC CEO states that Mitel has <<THE INDUSTRY LEADING SOLUTION>> . He goes on to state that the only other players are Conexant ,Vitesse and a few start ups.He also mentioned that Mitel is working out standards and developing partnerships ; he did not expect any big news soon (I assume until these issues are ironed out). Sounded like SmartOSA is on track , but it will take a little more time for this train to really start to rock and roll.Well worth the wait though.
