TeleVideo's Investment in Mulix Comes To Fruition
SAN JOSE, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--July 17, 2000--TeleVideo, Inc. (OTC BB:TELV - news) announced today that Mulix launched its beta version of the professional services eMarketplace, allowing small businesses to buy, sell or barter professional services within a network of business partners. Through the TrustedNet(TM) small businesses seeking professionals services such as accounting, legal counsel or web design can now make informed choices among a group of qualified service providers.
Last year, TeleVideo made an equity investment in Mulix, Inc. with a 35% percent stake in the Silicon Valley start-up and is currently its largest stockholder. Dr. Philip Hwang, TeleVideo's Chairman and CEO, is also a member of the Board of Directors of Mulix.
