Well I would send my child if they wanted to go to such a conference and I would go with them- if they were comfortable with that. Since I am a very reasonable parent, and very open about information, I think my children would allow me to go with them.

And if my child WAS gay I would encourage them to find the most loving and stable way to pursue that.

I think Steven might do the same- although I cannot speak for him.
