Chip ideas: Guys...... I have gone back into the archive at Briefing.com (from January) and pulled a comment about some chip companies that I think are going to continue to be leaders. 1 of these already reported.....2 left to go. BOA is still VERY POSITIVE about EXAR for their earnings this quarter, and made mention of them late last week. I did also. _______ 31-Jan-00 10:00 -- 11:00 ET Exar (EXAR) 63 5/8 +1/2: Banc of America Securities upgrades chip maker from "buy" to "strong buy" as Internet access trends are surging into the new year. Exar, PMC-Sierra (PMCS), and TranSwitch (TXCC) all demonstrated stellar results and ebullient guidance, that demand for access products remains white hot.....
