The Market's response to Tandem's demonstrations today is underwhelming. I think TDM starts looking very interesting. What they demonstrated today was what they promised at the annual meeting. Pieper said then that NT wasn't ready for prime time in the Enterprise, but they would try to "robustify" it. The nice thing about licensing ServerNet is the revenue. The nasty thing is that one of these folks will steal the technology. They are a prime example of Co-ompetition. Pieper told me that they can build low end boxes cheaper than anyone - using the PC bone-yard. Now it looks like they will be able to migrate NT up into real boxes (?). They have fixed up their balance sheet with the UB cash, and shown that they can hold expenses in check. Hopefully they start to show revenue growth.
