The fact that the whole software sector become soften in last quarter is very interesting. We should not blame IBM for knocking BMCS down. I believe that the Microsoft breaking-up case is the key to slow down the software sector. I agree with you that BMCS could be considered as a take-over target because of its values. The management software sector need a consolidation to eliminate some competitions. Yes, IBM's lotus could take over BMCS to beef up its product line to fight with SAP and CA, as well as PSFT. Both SAP and CA may also eye BMCS.
