gdichaz, Fully agree the 3G cell phone diagram would be insufficient but it would give me a starting point to begin research. As an example, I've read in the past day that INTC, ARM, TXN, and SNDK all expect to be in 100% of all cell phones (and that INTC hopes to be 100% of all cell phones if you can believe the post Apollo gave us). I want to get a better idea of cell phone architecture so I can see how others are using software to control the architecture. sditto
