I got this from Stockwatch.....

MFL:TSE -- Top Brokerage Houses say Minefinders has potential for 400%+ share
value increase

Minefinders Corporation Ltd MFL
Shares issued 16,300,709 Jul 14 close $1.18
Fri 14 Jul 2000

Ms. Laney Stolle reports:

Nesbitt Burns Research Team (July 10, 2000) said:
"We see potential for Minefinders' shares to appreciate in value by
over 400% without factoring in a takeover premium;"
"Minefinders to outperform during the remainder of the year;"
"Minefinders a favoured stock in the mining sector;"
"We believe that Minefinders represents an undervalued opportunity."

Merrill Lynch Research Group (May 16, 2000) said:
"Minefinders has potential to increase share value from 300 - 800%."

Minefinders has delineated more than 2.4 million ounces of gold and 124
million ounces of silver (4.2 million ounces of gold-equivalent) at their
Dolores Project located in Chihuahua, Mexico. This resource exceeds a
billion dollar gross value in the ground and is open in three directions.
It is no wonder these brokerage houses are highly recommending Minefinders.

Minefinders' current drill program continues to confirm continuity of
high-grade ore over 1,900 metres of strike as shown in recent drill
intercepts (news release July 13, 2000), for example:
51.8 metres grading 6.14 g/t gold and 153.7 g/t silver, including a
4.6 metre interval grading 61.84 g/t gold and 1,011.4 g/t silver.

Minefinders is an obvious takeover candidate in the Junior Exploration
sector, where merger and acquisition activity is heating up.
