PetroMoly Signs An Infomercial Agreement
July 17, 2000 01:05 PM Eastern Time
HOUSTON--(BUSINESS WIRE)--July 17, 2000--

Proven to Save on Fuel and Lower Emissions, This New Oil Product is Expected to have Mass Appeal

Worldwide PetroMoly Inc. MOLY today announced it has entered into a memorandum of understanding with Empire Multimedia Marketing Inc, based in Las Vegas, to provide the financing necessary for the production and airing of a quality 30-minute infomercial advertisement featuring PetroMoly products. This venture is expected to generate a considerable increase in sales volume and demand for PetroMoly's lubricant additive called "PetroMoly Oil Treatment." The advertising exposure is also intended to inform and educate the general public about PetroMoly's state-of-the-art lubrication technology and the various products the company manufactures. Empire has retained The Altek Group of Riverside, Calif., to produce and direct the commercial for television as well as a "webformercial" that will be distributed on CD-ROM and broadcasted via the Internet on the World Wide Web.

"We are very enthused to be working with Empire Multimedia Marketing to kick off our highly requested and long anticipated infomercial," says Gilbert Gertner, chairman and CEO of Worldwide PetroMoly Inc. "We are more than convinced that the market is prime for our technology, and the management at Empire has assembled a very qualified team to best achieve the excellent results we want from this exposure. With the present air quality issues, and gasoline prices at an all time high, I think the timing of our message about fewer emissions and fuel savings is perfect," says Gertner.

"This project has all of the elements that we look for," says Tony Sanzari, president of Empire Multimedia Marketing Inc. "The product works as advertised, and this type of product has experienced a very high measure of success through infomercials. Using the Internet also as a medium for direct marketing is keeping us ahead of the technology trend for initial impulse purchases and ongoing brand loyalty. We know the market demand is there, and we intend to exploit it in a very creative and interesting way. PetroMoly has proven to provide better fuel economy, fewer emissions and give more life and performance to an engine; the appeal is natural and far-reaching. We are happy to be working with such a great group of people and a really fine product technology," adds Sanzari.

Worldwide PetroMoly Inc. manufactures, markets and distributes high-performance lubricants for use in all types of motor vehicles, compressor engines and railroad locomotives. PetroMoly products incorporate a new and very unique and proprietary process technology called molytech(TM). These products contain stable and suspended molybdenum disulfide (moly), a hard and extremely low-friction metal, which fills in the micro-porous, crater-like surfaces of pistons, rings and cylinder walls. This creates a more efficient engine environment and prevents metal-to-metal contact, thereby reducing friction, heat and wear. Moly is a slick and powerful antioxidant, known to have the world's lowest coefficient for friction. Worldwide PetroMoly has been a sponsor in the 1999 and 2000 Indy Racing League, with drivers including Robby Unser and Jacques Lazier.
