Some fundamental data of AMES business, extracted from news releases.

Each store does $8.5 million/year. Each store has 75,000 customers/year. About 200 new customers/day. Each customer spends $110/year. Customers repeat visits 6 times a year($20/visit).

Interesting how these numbers could generate a profit strategy, if any item is priced $1.1 higher. If any or every customer spends $111.1; AMES profit will go up by 1%.

No wonder Ettore has full confidence of the future of AMES and is having an event of stores' grand opening in several states. That makes downgrading by MONT some what suspicious one day news? My advice to the market making bull pan is to buy back on the way up when people take profits. Most investors will be accumulating at the present pulled back price. And the Johnsons might buy more too, whether they average down or not.
